Personal Project
Vesper, a young man living in London, 1910, sadly passes away while his family is away at work. Haru, the embodiment of “Time” awaits him by his side. She offers Vesper the role of “Death,” which he accepts in hopes to see his baby brother one last time in the future.

The “Hall of Memories” piece depicts the scene of Vesper and his younger brother Lucas finally meeting again decades later. While Vesper has not aged since the day of his death, Lucas has lived a long life and has notably changed. Together, they walk through the Hall of Memories, which illustrates precious moments in their lives.

Both the hallway and the stained glass windows were designed in a Art Nouveau style, which was a significant art movement during their time. I believed that the long, elegant, organic curves of the Art Nouveau style would emphasize the beautiful celebration of life in the hallway scene.
